Samples Processor - Flooring Liquidators : Job Details

Summary/objective

Responsible for managing and fulfilling samples in the stores.

Essential functions:

• Cuts carpet and other flooring samples
• Mount samples on carry boards
• Verify that samples are neatly mounted and are identical in color and weave.
• Compares style number marked on sample with that on standard swatch.
• Label sample carry boards with appropriate information.
• Assemble sample carry boards for shipment to sales department.

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Work environment: Warehouse environment, work in hot or cold environment

Physical demands: Must be able to bend and lift, up to 50 pounds repeatedly

Travel required: between MDC and stores

Required education and experience

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Understanding of necessary mathematics
• Knowledge of materials and processing
• Table saw and minor experience with cabinets
• Forklift operation will be required.
• Attention to detail
• Valid Class C Driver's license

Preferred education and experience

• Rollmaster
• One or more years of making sample carry boards
