This is an ongoing contract for a large global bank that is seeking an individual with Sanctions Advisory experience. This consultant will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis of OFAC and export control regulations, review any correspondence between the identified parties, lead the annual reviews, and assist in the preparation of sanctions compliance training.

Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With it's full-fledged services, our client specialize in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business.
Description
Advisory Support
Conduct thorough research and analysis of OFAC and export control regulations. Evaluate escalations, identify their regulatory impact, and propose enhancements/solutions. Resolve escalations by providing advisory recommendations to the other teams. Maintain meticulous records of advisory escalations and responses.
Communications
Review correspondence addressed to the BSA Officers and Sanctions Newsletters upon request. Responsible to communicate any updates regarding changes to sanctions controls during meetings.
Policy and Procedure
Lead annual reviews of the Bank's sanctions compliance policy and procedures. Assist in updating the U.S. Sanctions Compliance desktop manual. Assess the team with operational guidance on sanctions compliance controls.
Training
Assist in the review and preparation of sanctions compliance training materials.
