This sales professional is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that highlight the value of Sangoma's innovative open-source technologies.Acting as a key point of contact, the Open-Source Account Executive will collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, close deals, and manage ongoing accounts. This individual will advocate for the company's solutions while understanding and addressing customer needs to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.Your Role:
- Conduct compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the company's solutions' value proposition to prospective clients.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, generating leads, and qualifying them based on their needs and potential fit with the company's offerings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers in the open-source community by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring customer retention,
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads and opportunities and forecasting potential revenue to meet sales quotas.
- Effectively communicate the value of Sangoma's open-source solutions to customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams on customer needs and market trends
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Sangoma and network with potential customers
Your Background:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or account management
- Strong understanding of open-source technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and effectively present information to clients
- Strong sales understanding, including the ability to identify customer needs, tailor solutions, and close deals
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals
- Negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients
- Ability to manage a complex sales pipeline and prioritize leads effectively
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in CRM systems to manage customer information and track sales activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is not required.
