What you will do...
Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Sanitation Manager, the Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leadership, development and continuous improvement of the site Sanitation, Internal Auditing, Pest Control and Environmental Monitoring Programs. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the program and people management with accountability for the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement, Training and Performance of the sanitation team. The Manager will ensure that all food safety and quality requirements are met according to Campbell's policies and regulatory requirements. The Supervisor will provide training, development and technical support for site employees, and will work with direct reports to maximize department efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include maintaining key safety (respirator, elevated work, confined space) and Food Safety programs.
- Oversees the scheduling and execution of all Master Sanitation Schedule activities in the facility including SSOP and SSW development and validation
- Selects, develops, and supervises a department of up to 10 skilled hourly associates and 1 Sanitation Coordinator . Develop individual development and training plans for team members.
- Oversee the facility environmental monitoring program, monitor closely for compliance and develop actions to address environmental issues in the facility
- Lead facility internal audit program, managing CAPA reports and corrective actions for facility food safety nonconformances
- Lead facility Integrated Pest Management program, work with contracted service provider to resolve potential risks and any pest issues
- Represent the Sanitation department and providing technical input to cross functional partners in Production, Quality & Maintenance
All Other Critical Responsibility areas
- Support Internal Auditing and continuous improvement of Food Safety prerequisite programs
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices in the facility and verify that regulatory (FDA, SQF and Kosher) requirements are being met
- Order and maintain inventory of facility operating supplies including sanitation chemicals, safety equipment, PPE, Janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment
- Respond to calls from the production lines to troubleshoot food safety or quality issues
- Participate in and lead, as needed, regulatory and 3rd party compliance audits including SQF, FDA and Ohio Department of Agriculture
- Support Quality & Sanitation team objectives and provide coverage and support for the Quality Assurance Manager
What you bring to the table...
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 + years' experience leading and managing people.

- Bachelors degree in food science, biology or related field, and prior food industry sanitation experience preferred.

- COMPUTER SKILLS: Computer proficiency is preferred in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$64,100-$92,100
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
