Job Description
- Ensures Superior Quality Always by promoting a culture of Food Safety among all bakery associates through education and policy reinforcement.
- Under the direction of the Quality Food Safety Manager, assists in maintaining audit-ready compliance to all internal and external Quality Food Safety policies.
- Ensures that product scoring and related paperwork are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinates new-hire GMP/HACCP training.
- Participates in third-party audits including SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and AIB (American Institute of Baking).
Education And Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related scientific major preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience leading Quality/Food Safety/Sanitation teams in a commercial food production environment.
- Leadership skills with a focus on associate development and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Computer proficiency including MS Office products.
