About the Role:As a Sanitation Lead in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our production environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of sanitation workers to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to manage a team will be essential in ensuring that our facility is always in top condition. Skills:In this role, you will utilize your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage a team of sanitation workers and ensure the cleanliness and safety of our production environment. Your attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation procedures will be essential in maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Additionally, your ability to collaborate with other departments and integrate sanitation procedures into the overall production process will be key to your success in this role.Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months - 1 year of experience in a sanitation or cleaning role
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and regulations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
Responsibilities:
  • Leads and manages a team of sanitation workers to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our production environment
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Train new sanitation workers on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sanitation procedures are integrated into the overall production process
  • Provides supervision, leadership and training to the clean-up crew
  • Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations
  • Observes general state of the plant each day to determine which tasks need to be accomplished during the shift
  • Assigns sanitation crew the tasks that must be completed each shift
  • Completes all paperwork as required
  • Ensures all cleaning and sanitation related equipment works properly
  • Verifies that the clean-up crew completes all assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner
  • Trains employees in proper cleaning and sanitation techniques and procedures
  • Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Helps to build and promote a strong Teamwork environment in each individual work group
Shift:
  • Sunday - Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Occasional overtime on Fridays
