Pay: Starting at $18 + $500 initial employment bonusesShift: 6pm - 6amSUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for the detailed cleaning of the baking equipment and structures in a food manufacturing environment using specialized equipment and techniquesSanitation cleans up after production shifts by breaking down the production equipment, scrub, scrape, wash, and sanitize ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Equipment Cleaning
• Facility structure cleaning
  • Walls and ceilings at heights
• ATP Swabbing
• Environmental Swabbing
• Some additional tasks may be assigned, or some help requested in order to complete all costing related projects on time and distribute regular reports as scheduled.
• Perform tasks associated with general sanitation - to include: scrub, scrape, and wash equipment to perfect sanitary condition.
• Keep plant trash removed on a timely basis
• Follow sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
• Perform assignments in accordance with established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures
• Perform scheduled tasks on the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Sweep, mop, clean, and sanitize floors
• Participate in ongoing training sessions for the Sanitation Department
• Maintain clean outside grounds and office areas
• Clean and sanitize employee restrooms, break-rooms, freezers, & ovens
• Demonstrate good verbal communication skills
• Familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product
• Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of PP and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.

• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Basic understanding of sanitation processes and related equipment.
• Ability to run sanitation equipment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and communicate safety labels on chemical containers.
• Ability to work overtime as needed with little or no notice.
• Basic computer skills
