Sanitation Supervsior - Kellanova : Job Details

Our Cary, NC plant is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to help us to improve, drive and maintain our sanitation program. This role requires a problem solver who is determined, accountable, acts with integrity, and is courageous and adaptable. You'll be working to support our operations and quality food safety departments to ensure that we continuously manufacture safe and quality food. In this role you will be working day shift on a 13-hour 2-2-3 schedule.This role is a great way to begin a long-term career within plant operations. Join us in Cary to develop your career at Kellanova!A Taste of What You'll Be DoingCompliance is Key – Support the quality food safety programs by ensuring that master sanitation schedule is implemented.Program Management – Work with quality food safety, operations, maintenance, and other units of the plant to ensure that allergen program is properly managed.Continuous Improvement Focused – Help the plant to drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve the Plant KPI.Safety First – Follow the corporate, regulatory and customer requirements to ensure that we create a safe work environment for our team and visitors.Lead with Excellence – Manage a crew of 10 - 30 union employees and direct, train, develop, and support QFS Associates while also ensuring they have the proper tools and chemical inventory to be successful.We're Looking for Someone WithHigh School Diploma/GED plus demonstrated Sanitation experienceKnowledge of chemical usage and safetyProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to problem-solve, multitask, prioritize assignments, and leadership skillsUnderstanding of general industrial safety requirementsAbility to work off shifts and weekends as neededFood industry experienceWhat's NextAfter you apply, your application will be reviewed by a real recruiter, so it may take us a few weeks to get back with you by email or phone.
