Currently we are recruiting for a part time Sanitation Tech Position. The Production Assistant ensures that all product is manufactured in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensures that all products meet the company's quality standards while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while in timely communication with production team members. A day in the life for this position may include responsibilities like: Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and dishes Cleaning and Sanitizing Work surfaces Sweeping and Mopping all production areas Removing trash and recycling from building Supporting packaging and inventory management efforts with task ranging from stickering to boxing and counting when needed Partnering with a team of cannabis confection professionals to compete the production plan by following scheduling and assignments, accomplishing work tasks, and following established priorities Following all written work instruction including but not limited to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and other instructions as needed Benefits We offer a great benefits package to round out employee total compensation Full-time team members are eligible for partially employer-sponsored Medical/Vision Insurance as well as voluntary dental insurance. Full-time team members also receive Paid Time Off, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, and a generous employee discount at all our locations Qualifications An excellent candidate for this position will have: Some kitchen experience specifically in dishwashing and sanitation Solid problem-solving skills Attention to detail Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback in an efficient, meaningful, and timely manner The experience we often see correlated with success in this role is: Cannabis industry or food and beverage industry experience People who enjoy repetitive tasks People who enjoy working independently The important requirements for this role include: All cannabis industry employees must be age 21 or older and hold or obtain a valid OLCC Marijuana Handler's permit Candidates must have an up-to-date Food Handlers Card Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases Ability to work in a wet environment Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily Ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions such as heavy foot traffic, background noise due to public conversations and the gathering of people, etc. EEO Statement Groundworks Industries and our family of brands are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind.
