SANITATION TECHNICIAN - Kent Precision Foods Group : Job Details

The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for all activities requiring cleaning and sanitizing in the plant. This full-time position offers a competitive wage and an outstanding benefits package including health insurance and a 401K plan. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) with regards to sanitation
• Adheres to all company and regulatory product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee, and environmental standards.
• Adheres to company Lock Out Tag Out, and HACCP procedures.
• Perform of cleaning production lines, mixers, totes drums and food processing rooms per SOP requirements.
• Routine Sanitation work include cleaning cafeteria, all restrooms, offices, etc.
• Pick up garbage, cardboard boxes, plastic waste, and disposal into compactor.
• Cleaning warehouse, receiving, shipping areas, production lines hallways, overhead pipes and other areas as per Sanitation checklists.
• Safely apply industrial foam cleaners and sanitizers to production lines, mixers, production equipment, production rooms and drains.
• Report any problems or discrepancies immediately to sanitation lead, or sanitation supervisor.
• Report to sanitation lead or supervisor if any equipment is damaged.
• Completed necessary sanitation forms accurate such as pre-operational inspection checklist after washing productions lines, mixers, and Kason.
• Maintain accurate daily drains sanitizing/cleaning sheet record.

• High School or GED diploma required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels.
• Demonstrated good attendance and work reliability.
• Demonstrates good citizenship and safety awareness
• Ability to work overtime (if necessary)
• Ability to adhere and promote Good Manufacturing Practices within plant.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
• Ability to complete assigned jobs in a timely manner
• 1+ year of Manufacturing or Sanitation experience preferred.
