Sanitation Worker - Advantage Resourcing : Job Details

• Shift Schedule Availability 6:00am til 2:00pm (end time could be adjusted based on production operational needs)
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Monday to Friday (Weekends on Occasion When Needed)

Responsibilities:

• Perform sanitation duties, including daily and weekly of breakroom, bathroom, offices, and common area.
• Perform facilities, equipment, and warehouse cleanup and sanitation.
• Cleaning and sanitizing as per production schedules.
• Follows, records and updates master cleaning schedule and can complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Work safely with cleaning chemicals and ensure that they are properly labeled, stocked, and controlled.
• Will be required to work with production and quality to ensure line clearance process is completed.
• Support packer staff as needed to ensure materials are properly wrapped, equipment is cleaned.
• Responsible for Quality of Sanitation and Equipment readiness.
• Work with Quality on cleaning, stocking and sanitation of areas identified during Plant Auditing Review.
• Identification of improvement areas and prevention of debris, dust, leaks, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand and follow direction/instruction.
• Operational knowledge of all production and sanitation equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and-or sit frequently or through the duration of shift.
• Ability to load/unload, lift/move equipment which may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Dust associated with corrugate boxes.
• Must wear personnel protective equipment as required within your facility in the appropriate designated areas.
• The work involves risks or discomforts, e.g., working around moving parts and equipment, which require some safety precautions and/or the use of protective safety equipment.
• Required to wear steel toe shoes and safety vest.
