Job Summary

As an SAP Datasphere Consultant, you will be responsible to help the client's Finance organization to build SAP Datasphere data structures to support P&L reporting and planning for the enterprise

Job Description

We are looking for an SAP Datasphere Consultant. This position will be full-time and remote. This is a 6-12 month position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP BW using SDI to development to support various analytics data models

  • Develop, deliver, and support analytic solutions in alignment with business requirements using SAC and Datasphere

  • Utilize best practice architecture and design principles to create analytical data models

  • Understand customer demands, challenge requirements, and translate them into effective analytical solutions

  • Build secure and compliant cloud analytic solutions adhering to best practices in data security and privacy

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst roles, preferably with SAP systems

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Datasphere, ECC, and BW

  • Expertise in building restricted and calculated measures in Datasphere

  • Experience SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and its data structures for both Analytics and Planning

  • SAC expertise building data actions for planning and major factor calculations as well as dimension and story calculations

  • Good experience and exposure in working with BW import models and the capability to suggest improvements or changes

  • Good working knowledge of live data connections and import mechanisms within SAC

  • Very strong in handling Data Actions and Advanced Designer (AD) scripts

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

  • Mastery of concepts and practices of OLAP, data warehouse design, multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
