Job Function Reporting into the Global Master Data Manager, the SAP Master Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data within our SAP systems. The SAP Master Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, support business processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain master data records in SAP systems, including materials, customers, vendors, and financial data.
- Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of master data, identifying and resolving discrepancies and errors.
- Enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Analyze master data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor data quality and performance, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards, establish data quality metrics, and develop governance frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize master data management processes within SAP systems, recommending system enhancements and automation solutions.
- Provide support and guidance to SAP users on master data-related issues, queries, and requests, including troubleshooting data issues and providing training on data entry procedures.
- Stay updated on SAP master data management best practices, industry trends, and technology advancements through training programs and certifications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand data requirements and processes, facilitating collaboration and alignment across the organization.
Required Experience - Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Should have fluent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Proven experience working with SAP systems, particularly in master data management roles.
- Strong understanding of SAP master data structures, data models, and data governance principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, and reporting tools.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies, such as implementing standards and best practices
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated on SAP best practices and industry trends.
Preferred Experience - Manufacturing environment experience
