In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks involved in the production of lumber and wood products within a fast-paced sawmill environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor sawmill machinery, including saws and conveyors, to process logs into finished lumber products.
• Inspect finished lumber for defects and ensure products meet quality standards. Make adjustments to machinery as needed to maintain quality.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work effectively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a sawmill or wood processing environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in a noisy and physically demanding environment.
• Strong focus on quality control and safety practices.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Willingness to work swing shifts and overtime as needed.
