Weekly Pay Range - $1984 To $2204 Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Psych Nights Job Specialty: Pediatrics - Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x11.5 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years+ experience in psychiatric and medical-surgical nursing License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Experience with EPIC software, ability to work every other weekend and holidays Job Description: - Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.- Ensure awareness and adherence to ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.- Maintain safety in practice, incorporating evidence-based principles, and take responsibility for advancing personal and team knowledge.- Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.- Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members while collaborating with other patient care providers.- Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes.- Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, utilizing the nursing process to integrate all care aspects.- Individualize care plans to address specific patient needs.
