We are looking to hire someone to focus on the SCADA computer portion of our controls work due to a growing work load and an increase in demand for SCADA computer development and upgrades. The position will work closely with PLC/HMI programmers to develop SCADA Screens, Reports and Alarming Strategies for Control System Applications.
Responsibilities Include
· Install and configure PC based FactoryTalk View SE SCADA Software
· Work closely with PLC/HMI programmers to develop SCADA Applications
· Develop Automated Reports using Smartsights XLReporter
· Configure alarm notification using Smartsights Win911
· Upgrade existing SCADA computers
· Provide customer support
· Perform computer backups, maintain documentation of settings
and common procedures
· Configure networking and remote access
· Assist customers with assessing and maintaining system security
· Work with other SCADA platforms including GE Proficy iFix, GE Cimplicity
if required by customer
· May also assist with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming and testing
Job Requirements
· Knowledge of Windows Computer and general computer troubleshooting.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
· Familiarity with Ethernet Network architecture
· Experience with FactoryTalk View SE is highly preferred
· Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs is a plus
· Experience with other SCADA systems is a plus
· The ability to effectively communicate with customers
