Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Scheduler / Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of our portable toilet services, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and pickups. You will work closely with our drivers and customer service team to maintain operational efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch portable toilet deliveries, services, and pickups.
• Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and address any issues that arise during routes.
• Maintain an accurate schedule and ensure all customer commitments are met.
• Use dispatch software to track vehicle locations and status.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure all units are prepared for delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries and update them on service status.
• Resolve any scheduling conflicts or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, and dispatch activities.
• Collaborate with management to improve operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Proven experience as a scheduler, dispatcher, or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software and other computer applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Knowledge of local geography and routes in Springfield, Ohio
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. (if onsite)
• Prior experience in the sanitation industry or with fleet management is a plus.
