The Scheduler is responsible for processing requests for service and providing appropriate staff to meet patient needs. DIMENSIONS: Assigns and staffs all requests for patient services. NATURE AND SCOPE: The Scheduler interacts with staff to update patient needs continuously. The incumbent interacts with all levels of professional and HCA resource staff with focus on customer service. Responsible for communicating staff productivity issues to appropriate personnel. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Processes all referrals for visits which include assignment and coordination of schedules of the staff to match needs of the patients according to agency policy and procedures. Will work flexible schedule to maintain flow of referrals. Assists Supervisors with annual performance evaluations by giving input regarding time issues and communication issues as well as frequent and multiple schedule changes.
