GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination, scheduling and support of daily work and planning of resourcesfor Shared Services (Fleet and Facilities).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Other duties as assigned or may be necessary
  • Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action, identifying training opportunities, creating standards, etc.
  • Support emergent matters inline with the business units processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
  • Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.
  • Communicate effectively inline with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups
  • Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.

  • Ability to work effectively in urgent situations
  • Communication skills
  • Skilled in organization and time management
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Technical skills to utilize various systems
EDUCATION
  • Associate Degree in Business or related. In lieu of a degree, candidate must have a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of related experience.
EXPERIENCE
  • 2 - 4 years Experience with scheduling or related work; customer facing; exposure to data and reports.
