We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Nursing Scheduler to plan and manage the schedule for the nursing units to assure care for the residents and within the state and federal regulations. Job Responsibilities
- Prepares schedules for the nursing units and maintain posted schedules
- Keeps schedules up to date with personnel changes
- Prepares and completes all paperwork necessary for change of assignments/shifts and status of employees
- Communicates with Human Resources when changes of assignments/shifts and status occurs
- Completes nursing hours daily report for Nursing Mgmt and all other reports as assigned
- Enters coded nursing hours in Onshift and Payroll software daily, including paid and unpaid time off
- Transfers hours in Smartlinx to reflect the nursing area worked daily
- Enters paid time off & completion of nursing payroll
- Reviews and maintains the nursing agency credential files
- Creates written communication for any changes in schedules, weekend-holiday-vacation coverage or alerts
Qualifications
- Computer skills are required
- Prior administrative and scheduling experience a plus
- Strong communication skills, diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation
