Spencer Ogden is supporting one of our clients in their search for a scheduler for a nuclear plant in Washington. This role would start off as a 1-year W2 contract (likely to extend), and candidates must be able to be on-site 5 days a week.
Candidates can be either senior or staff level in years of experience. Pay bands for staff vs senior schedulers are:
Staff: 60-70/hr
Senior: 71-79/hr

Responsibilities:
- Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for Nuclear or Engineering Projects.
- Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera tools.
- Assist project managers with developing detailed schedules for on-line, outage, and life-cycle projects, including Enterprise Risk.
- Resolve schedule conflicts and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Support the development of long-term project schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Technology) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 10+ years of experience, or a High school diploma/GED with 12+ years of experience in nuclear power generation.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera Scheduling and basic scheduling techniques.
- Primavera 106 Training Certification or 4+ years using Primavera.
- Experience with report development (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
- PMP certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Desired:
- SRO License or Certification.
- Advanced knowledge of outage work processes, Passport program, and Paragon risk management software.
- Ability to solve complex scheduling issues and work cross-functionally with teams.
