Scheduler - Ferretti Search : Job Details

As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring that materials, equipment, and personnel are available to meet production demands. You will work closely with the production team, procurement, and other departments to ensure on-time delivery of products while minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

What will you do day-to-day?

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in production timelines, equipment availability, and workforce capacity.
• Communicate with production teams, suppliers, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any production delays.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials.
• Maintain and update production records and reports, ensuring accurate data for forecasting and decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with management to address production bottlenecks and prioritize orders as needed.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in production scheduling or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and scheduling software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
