Scheduler Long Island, NY, United States JOB DESCRIPTION Hill International is seeking a Scheduler in Long Island, New York RESPONSIBILITIES Consult with customers, attend status meetings, engage with responsible people in other organizations Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule Facilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as required Review construction schedules with supporting documentation Prepare Schedule update reports to the client indicating changes and analyze the impacts Assist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractors progress schedule as well as consulting and troubleshooting issues throughout the construction of the project QUALIFICATIONS Must have a minimum of 3-5 years or experience of scheduling experience in utilities or electrical Four-year college degree is preferred, major in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent technical discipline Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Oracle Primavera P6 software Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to present complex, technical information in simple, non-technical terms. Must be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs promptly Demonstrated ability to validate and accurately analyze information, and make sound decisions that have considerable business impact. Demonstrated ability to initiate, evaluate, and implement suggestions to optimize effectiveness of the organization Demonstrated the ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, management, and vendors to successfully meet shifting needs. Demonstrated ability to motivate self and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals with little supervision Must be willing to work hybrid schedule, 2 or 3 days a week onsite in Long Island, NY The salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
