Job Overview:
The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will coordinate and perform efforts for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for Company-operated and Other Builder Operator (OBO) projects at all Gate and Funding milestones. The role involves preparing Check Estimates and Schedules to compare with OBO operator-prepared submittals, as well as participating in estimate/schedule assessments to verify project costs and schedules. The engineer will also help improve Estimating Group processes and efficiency tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain change control and cost reports.
- Collaborate with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and the client's accounting team.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly progress reports.
- Work closely with the client's project manager and team leads to meet both regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in upstream construction and execution, specifically with CAT1 $1B projects.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills for internal coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in cost estimating, project planning, and project controls.
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional coordination abilities.

- This is a 1-year W2 contract position.
