If you're passionate about this, we want to hear from you!About the RoleMWH is currently seeking a Scheduler-Pipelineto support the construction of a Water Treatment Plant located in Portland, OR. This project will be the first of its kind in, an ultimately supplying 135 million gallons of water a day to the Portland community. This position is a great opportunity to be a part of a historic infrastructure and filtration project and see it through the entire project delivery life cycle, from groundbreaking to closeout.Essential Functions
  • Develop accurate schedules in adherence with the contract using industry best practices and insight from project team members.
  • Attend all schedule-related meetings, including progress meetings.
  • Conduct job walks when necessary to verify schedule progress.
  • Schedule review meetings and special meetings pertaining to scheduling of the Work.
  • Work closely with the Owner's Representative to deliver acceptable products outlined in this section and comply with the Reports requirements.
  • Update project schedules in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices. Communicate results to project team and suggest action when necessary.
  • Manage project change regarding the project schedule. Review changes for possible impacts to the project duration and prepare change notices as required by contract.
  • Review project schedules for compliance with company procedures, contract requirements and industry best practices. Recommend corrective action where necessary.
  • Develop and execute monthly schedule reports for project and management use.
  • Provide schedule guidance to schedule software users as needed.
  • Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.
Basic Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science or higher university degree in Engineering, construction management or a related degree. An equivalent combination of experience, skills and training may be substituted.
  • Minimum of 8 years verifiable experience in construction work sequencing, productivity, and scheduling as well as preparing and maintaining detailed construction schedules using the most current version of Oracle Primavera P6 software.
  • Experience on projects with construction value of $250+ million is required.
  • Experience covering development of baseline schedules, incorporating cost and resource data, subcontractor schedules, schedule updating and analysis of progress, including project compliance processes and audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and other normal business applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with customer facing experience.
  • Knowledge of general construction practices and sequences required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project planning experience
  • Earned Value Management experience on self-perform projects.
  • Experience with Deltek Acumen Fuse and/or Risk software
  • Experience with 4D/BIM Synchro software
  • Experience with CMiC construction software
  • Working knowledge of other scheduling software (MS Project, Asta, NetPoint, etc.)
  • Primavera database administration experience
  • Professional Scheduler Certification from PMI (PMI-SP) or AACE (PSP)
