Job Description Scranton Area Scheduler Assistant Job Location Requirements : Hybrid with 1 day per week physically at Client Scranton service center with Scheduler and crew Field Supervision. Candidate can choose between remote work or in person work on the other days. Job Hours: Monday through Friday, 0800 through 1600. Depending on mutual needs of business and candidate, start time may be shifted. Intent is 40 hour week during normal working hours. Duties
Work closely with scheduling and crew leadership team to prioritize and schedule work for Client line crews in specifically the Scranton crew area. Answer incoming customer calls, document needs and concerns within work system notes, review existing work order schedule using work management software and Primavera scheduling software, provide recommendations to scheduler regarding modifications to existing schedule. Constructively interact with customers, both residential and commercial, to de-escalate tense situations while communicating facts and realistic expectations. Be able to provide an escalation path for customers when required by involving scheduler and regional work manager to help resolve especially difficult concerns. Track and communicate customer property damage complaints so the correct remediation can be performed. Close out completed property damages complaints in the Client tracking system. Prepare outbound outage notifications for work scheduled Develop an understanding of the physical work required for each type of customer job as well as what other Client groups may need to be involved to assess or perform that work. Prepare job packets for crews in order to execute. Coordinate and prepare outbound voice message notifying customers of planned outage work at least 7 days prior to the outage. Qualifications
Strong customer service background Ability to use MS Office Application Suite. Demonstrated ability to learn new software, specifically Client Work Management and Scheduling Software.
