Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities Train scheduling staff. Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of scheduling staff.
Routine Duties and Responsibilities Monthly staff meetings. Review each weekly schedule and publish. Work directly with the site supervisors for any scheduling needs. Work to lower OT as able by capping the system in WIW and reviewing the schedule to distribute hours amongst academy graduates. Maintain contact with Kitsap Networking regarding any IT issues. Function as admin for our Microsoft 365 system which means adding email accounts, deleting email accounts, resetting passwords, coaching new people, installing programs on computers, setting up shared mailboxes, setting up group SharePoint. Handle new contracts. Weekly zoom meetings with academy class. Ensure job shadows are set up every week for graduating academy class. Add in new employees and get their availability, then create their schedules. Lead the team in monitoring for over 16hrs, checking that the correct number of shifts are built for each site, sending out weekly schedules, checking that pay tags are correct for officers, etc. Fill in for schedulers if they call out. Push to maintain coverage. Train incoming employees and others in WIW including HR and site supervisors. Communicate with clients about coverage needs. Work closely with HR to bring forward issues that scheduling heard of with officers. Schedule hotels, flights, cars, etc. as needed for out-of-town officers. Create SOPs and work to streamline processes within scheduling. Make final decisions on day-to-day issues. Send monthly meter readings to Pacific Office Equipment. Create schedules for operations. Handle any schedule issues for the admin group. Build out schedules for admin and alarm group. Double check work done by the operations department. Handle disciplinary situations should the occasion arise. Other Duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Background Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses. Must be able to work with speed. Excellent supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with confidential information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher preferred. Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements Extensive periods of standing and sitting. Must be able to lift to twenty-five (25) pounds at a time.Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 per hourBenefits:
