Job Type Full-time Description Scheduling Supervisor The Scheduling Supervisor reports to the Location Manager and works closely with the Plant Operations Manager to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the seed manufacturing process. They have extensive knowledge of customer systems and utilize these systems to communicate accurate and timely information to customers. Other responsibilities may include but not limited to: •Creation of the weekly conditioning schedule. •Communicate weekly plans with growers/plant personnel /bulk suppliers. •Generating process orders and accurately projecting completion dates for them •Ensuring alignment between RIC and customer systems on all inventories - bulk seed, finished seed, & supplies •Monitoring packaging and treatment supply inventories •Ensuring finished product inventories are entered in timely and accurately •Entering in quality test results •Assisting with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System •Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area Requirements This position requires attention to details, ability to handle change positively, good verbal and written communication skills. This person will need to be able handle stressful situations, work with a several different work groups at the same time. Some of the tasks for this position would be: Scheduling seed for delivery to both soybean plants. Generating process orders for each run. Accurately reporting completion dates. Monitor supply inventories. Enter grower fields into RIC. Enter grower spray information into RIC. Field inspecting Ordering supplies Price grower beans when they call. Answering phone calls
