School Based Services Program Manager - Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) : Job Details

Northeast Kingdom Human Services is seeking a Program Manager for School Based Services in Newport. Take the lead and provide overall direction of school based staff and clinically coordinate programs serving children and youth who are experiencing a serious emotional disturbance and their families.

Duties & Responsiblities:

• Provide supervision and training to all staff employed by or assigned to targeted school programs around service delivery.
• Represent targeted school programs to interested persons and serve as liaison between the targeted school programs, community, families, and other NKHS programs.
• Participate in the recruiting, hiring and training of school staff.
• Assist in the development of program objectives and policies. Screen, assess, evaluate and accept referrals. Provide ongoing assessment, evaluation, and updating of materials and program.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in human service field. Licensure preferred.
• Experience working with children with Emotional Behavioral Disturbances (EBD).
• Knowledge of system of care and trauma informed treatment a must.
• Administrative and supervisory experience also required.
