School Based Therapist - Easterseals MORC : Job Details

We recognize the importance of a quality work life balance and offer a generous paid time off program and flexible work arrangements to meet the changing needs of our workforce.*Job Duties** Provides individual and/or group consulting to school district staff using mental health consultation best practices.* Provides on-demand crisis intervention with partnering districts.* Provides individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy and support services to children with severe emotional disturbance and their family.* Ensures that paperwork is maintained in accordance with grant/funder requirements as well as Easterseals MORC policies and procedures.* Conducts clinical assessments, develops diagnoses, and participates in developing person/family centered treatment plans with client families. Monitors client progress and coordinates appropriate behavioral health and other needed services including, but not limited to, community coordination, outreach, and referrals.* Willingness to support and assist individuals served with trauma related issues utilizing TFCBT, CBITS, Prime for Life and/or trauma-informed practices.* Attend school meetings/provide consultation regarding mutual individuals served* Provide community trainings and/or participate in community/school events to promote Easterseals MORC services* Use data to make caseload decisions; determine training needs within a school/community*Qualifications** Possess a Master's degree in Social Work; AND Have an LMSW/ LLMSW from the State of Michigan; OR* Possess a Master's degree in Counseling; AND Have a (LPC) / LLPC from the State of Michigan AND* Must meet qualifications of a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) per the Michigan PIHP/CMHSP Provider Qualifications per Medicaid Services*Benefits of Being a Superhero!*We are proud to offer an equitable and inclusive environment that reflects the communities that we serve and encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices of our workforce.Here at Easterseals MORC, life is good.
