The Sheppard Pratt School in Cumberland is a nonpublic special education day school dedicated to providing year-round educational, vocational, and daily living services to students in grades K-12. You will assess, develop, and implement behavior support plans for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Specific responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
- Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.
- Providing training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

The pay range for this position is $56,700.80 minimum to $87,568 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience. What we need from you.
- Master's degree in a related field of study.
- Two years of behavior assessment and management experience.
- For internal candidates: a bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (2 of which must be within SPHS) would be considered a substitute for a master's degree.
