School Buildings Head Cooks - Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center : Job Details

Lake Chelan School District has two openings for Head Cooks starting in August 2025 for the 2025/2026 school year. One will be at Morgen Owings Elementary, and one will be at Chelan Middle/High School.These positions are for8 hours per day/193 days per year. The salary range will be $22.69 to $28.25 per hour, depending upon prior school district experience in the same job classification.Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma

Post-secondary food service training and work experience desirable

Ability to lead and establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team

Commitment to keep current with workplace innovations that enhance the food service program

Food production skills and the ability to prepare standardized recipes using a commercial kitchen

Ability to monitor and manage compliance with nutrition, health, and safety laws and regulations

Ability to accurately compute and record mathematical data

Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public

WSP, FBI and Sexual Misconduct clearance

Food Handler card
