It operates approximately 800 school bus routes throughout all of NYC with a staff of approximately 1,800 people from six locations with a budget of $190 million. • $23.97 HOURLY with a $5000 SIGNING BONUS PAID WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR!
• NEW YORK STATE COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE (ANY CLASS) WITH A PASSENGER AND STUDENT ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED.

QualificationsQualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess or obtain a valid Commercial Drivers license, with both student and passenger endorsements
• Must qualify following criminal and driving history checks in accordance with Federal, State and local guidelines
• Must be able to pass, both upon initial employment and every two years a Department of Transportation physical examination per District guidelines
• Must be able to read and comprehend the Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of School Transportation Vehicles
• Must satisfactorily complete the NYCSBUS training program and driving test
• Must attain an acceptable score on written examination pertaining to school bus laws and regulations
• Must acquire and maintain a standard Red Cross first aid certificate
• Must pass drug and alcohol and Department of Motor Vehicle report screenings prior to employment; with a valid state license or ID

Calificaciones

• Debe tener al menos 21 aos de edad.
• Debe poseer o obtener una licencia de conducir comercial vlida, con los endosos de estudiante y de pasajero.
• Debe calificar despus de verificaciones de antecedentes penales y de manejo de acuerdo con las pautas federales, estatales y locales.

• Debe poder leer y comprender las normas y reglamentos que rigen la operacin de los vehculos de transporte escolar.
• Debe completar satisfactoriamente el programa de capacitacin y el examen de manejo de NYCSBUS.
• Debe obtener una puntuacin aceptable en un examen escrito relacionado con las leyes y regulaciones de autobuses escolares.
• Debe adquirir y mantener un certificado estndar de primeros auxilios de la Cruz Roja.
• Debe pasar exmenes de deteccin de drogas y alcohol y del Departamento de Vehculos Motorizados antes de trabajar; con una licencia estatal vlida o identificacin
