- Understands the changing nature of the school library learning commons and is willing to learn about best practices.
- Interest in digital citizenship, coding, and makerspaces.
- Values and can navigate research in varied disciplines. Knowledge of personalized learning preferred.
- Connects with and builds relationships with all stakeholders, including students, teachers, other media specialists, administrators, parents.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Elementary and middle school experience (Grades K-8)
- Knowledge of the Follett Titlewave system and Google training preferred.
