Position Name: School Nurse SupervisorLocation: Rochester, NY - 14620Employment Type: Direct-Hire & PermanentSetting: SchoolPay$66,500-$76,500 per year (depending on experience/education)Shift- Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm- Full-Time, 40 hours a week- No on-callQualificationsRequired:- RN NY State License.- Minimum of 6 months of professional nursing experience.Preferred:- Experience in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities (highly preferred, not required).- Psych-centered experience if no developmental disabilities experience.- If no Developmental Disabilities experience: Open to someone with a personal passion or experience helping patients with developmental disabilities.- BLS Certification (if don't have, will help you obtain).- NYS Abuse Course and Infectious Disease Certification (if don't have, will help you obtain).Application Guidelines- Professional Stability: 2+ years in recent roles preferred.- Complete Resume: Full work history with job title, company, dates (month/year), and responsibilities for each role.- Serious Applicants: Incomplete applications or frequent unexplained job changes may be disqualified.Job SummaryLead and supervise the nursing team, providing daily clinical guidance and support, and ensuring consistent and continuous care. Oversee staff supervision, approve time reporting, and manage caseload assignments to ensure all children receive necessary nursing services. Administer NYS mandated programs and immunizations, document health services, and maintain accurate health records for each student. Act as a liaison between home, school, and community providers, monitor health and safety standards, and participate in the schools multi-disciplinary team.
