POSITION SUMMARYAs a School Psychologist at Bold you will join our growing Strive team, ensuring that all students, including students with specific learning, social, and emotional needs, experience a joyful, engaging, and rigorous learning environment every day. You will model and inspire a love of learning that will equip each student to succeed in school and thrive in life. You will be part of a results-oriented and collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence. You will receive regular coaching and feedback, and will have opportunities to grow into a transformative leader within the organization.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Building strong relationships with students and their families to support academic, social, and emotional success
  • Conducting psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic achievement testing, and any additional evaluations needed for a thorough and accurate representation of students
  • Providing counseling services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs
  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans and additional behavioral supports as needed
  • Supporting with crisis management, as needed
  • Actively participating in the school-based support team to ensure student progress through the appropriate supports and interventions

  • Hold a commitment to solutions-based problem solving and previous experience of such
  • Have background in crisis management and counseling
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of achievement
  • Hold a valid NYS School Psychologist certification
Start DateThe start date for this position is July 2025; opportunities for an earlier start may also be available. CompensationBold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools.
