The pay is $32.93 per hour. The position requires POST Certified Officers or Certified State Troopers that are interested in a lateral transfer. The position is also recommended for recently retired state troopers or municipal officers. POST recertification can be accommodated. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written examination, oral interview, and background investigation. Successful candidates will then undergo a polygraph test, psychological test, drug screening, and physical examination.
