Remote - Scientific Partnership Enablement Operations Leader

Kelly Services is currently seeking a Scientific Partnership Enablement Operations Leader for one of our top clients in Titusville, NJ.

The Scientific Partnership Enablement Operations Leader will be responsible for enabling processes and operations excellence in support of scientific partnerships with external health care entities HCE to support evidence generation needs for Customer business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Identify assess potential health care entity HCE partners to ensure criteria alignment.
  • Identify develop operational institutional pathways to grow scientific engagements research and data for the enterprise with a special focus on community oncology centers and accounts for ongoing working groups and consortium support
  • Contributes to the scientific affairs HCE partnership execution with select external research partners to maximize effective and compliant delivery of research with external organizations.
  • They will execute research contracts including own 3-5 HCE Master agreement execution from start to finish:
  • For this they will collaborate closely with business strategy and operations BSO , Contracting, Procurement, Legal and HCC stakeholders. External partner engagements prior to and during the process of MRA negotiations and execution will be vital to remain strategically aligned.
  • The candidate will do this in close partnership with the Director SPPH.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify/share best practices regarding research partner engagement and data acquisition/usage.
  • Project management activities including metrics tracking and reporting for a portfolio of HCE partnership related research projects, maintaining oversight of key milestones and budgets, generating progress summaries and visualizations on project and portfolio levels and communicating project/portfolio status to team members and leadership.
  • Assist in engaging with third party vendors, to plan and execute steering committees and or advisory boards as part of oncology consortiums and/or working groups

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

  • Masters Degree required; PhD/PharmD desired.
  • 3-5 years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competencies in proactive, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and influencing teams/personnel without direct reporting responsibility preferred.
  • Experience across multiple research settings e.g., pharmaceutical, academia, and/or consulting and various types of data e.g., administrative claims, electronic health/medical record, hospital billing preferred.
  • Experience managing relationships with external partners and/or vendors in an industry, academic, scientific, or health system setting is preferred
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret master agreements level contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written verbal communication and listening skills Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
