Position Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic scrum master who has project management experience to join our growing team. The Scrum Master will support one or more delivery teams within a fast-paced product development driven environment. This role is intended to help software development teams achieve their goals as high performing software development teams, creating a culture of self-organization and continued improvement, consistent delivery of a shippable product, and provide a leader for Agile projects. The Scrum Master ensures clear communication and organization of the team, and coaching development team members in all aspects of the standard Agile/Scrum process. We are seeking a candidate who has proven servant leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, influence and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. This position can be performed in a hybrid model from New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ. Your future duties and responsibilities: •Certified Scrum Master around 7-10 years of IT experience managing high-impact projects in the Banking and Financial Services industry. •Experience as Scrum Master in AI/ML projects having frameworks such as TensorFlow/scikit-learn is a huge plus. •Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. •Gather functional and non-functional requirements to perform analysis to create user stories and functional specification in JIRA. •Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within Agile environments. •Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. •Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. •Liaise between Product Owner, Development, QA team and stakeholders. •Guide the team in self-organization and cross-functionality. •Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog. •Monitor and report on team performance metrics, facilitating continuous improvement. •Strong experience in JIRA/Kanban Dashboard Required qualifications to be successful in this role: •Required Skills -Certified Scrum Master with Project Management experience, technical background is a plus •Experience as Scrum Master in AI/ML projects having frameworks such as TensorFlow/scikit-learn is a huge plus. •Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor team members in Agile Methodologies •Minimum of 5 years' experience implementing Agile methodologies •Bachelor's degree. •Minimum 3 years or experience as acting Scrum Master. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800 - $185,800.
