Scrum Master - iQuasar : Job Details

iQuasar, LLC is seeking to fill the Scrum Master position with one of our clients. Please look at the job description I've included below. Job Description Functional Responsibility:

• The Scrum Master is a servant leader who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver by teaching and coaching effective Agile practices. The Scrum Master will:
• Act as a servant leader to the Scrum Team by embracing SAFe Core Values, applying SAFe Principles, implementing SAFe practices, and utilizing ScrumXP rules.
• Help the scrum team achieve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Helps the team focus on daily and Sprint Goals in the context of current PI Objectives. Guides team in establishing normalized story points for estimating user stories.
• Facilitates all team meetings, including the daily stand-up, Sprint Planning, Team Demos, and Retrospectives. Attend and represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums meetings.
• Collaborate with other impacted teams (e.g., Other Scrum or Product teams, Product Owners, and Stakeholders) to ensure alignment between priorities, scope, and all deployment-related activities.
• Assists the team in preparation for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt workshop. Helps team and ART estimate larger Features and Capabilities.
• Communicate with management and outside stakeholders. It helps protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work and remove impediments to achieving the objectives of the Sprint or PI.
• Focuses on ever-improving team dynamics and performance. Execution of logistics planned roadshow events, demonstrations, and workshops for each migration.

Preferred Experience:

• SAFe Certified Scrum Master
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance Preferred
• Active TSA Clearance Preferred

Required Experience:

• 4+ years' experience performing as a scrum master utilizing SAFe methodologies or similar Agile servant leadership or coaching role.
• Prior experience in transformation of software development programs, preferably in an open-source technical environment
• 2+ years' experience with facilitating communication/collaboration with client and development team staff through in-person and virtual settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
