Suffolk University is seeking a Seasonal Application Reader to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Transfer Admission, the reader will be expected to do the following in this role:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate evaluation of approximately 600-800 freshman applicants, and issuing admission decisions and rankings for honors consideration or special financial aid merit programs.
• Communicate with applicants and school counseling offices to complete application files.

All reading is web-based and completely remote. Outside readers are expected to commit to 12-15 hours per week. Training will be provided. Employment would begin in October 2023 and end April 1, 2024.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Prior experience in admission and higher education preferred. Previous experience with file review strongly considered.
• Previous experience using a CRM (Slate experience a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict, frequent deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Must have a secure PC with access to high speed internet in a private location.
