Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has gained a reputation far and wide for serving some of the best BBQ in the country in a vibrant and lively setting.Why work for us:Competitive pay at $18.00 per hourEmployee purchase and meal programEligibility to participate in our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Sick time, earned on an accrual basisWork/Life BalanceFast-Paced work environmentFun and engaging work placeChance to be part of a great and rewarding teamEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Answers questions and has ability to make recommendations about our food, beverages, features, and catering servicesClearly understands correct procedures in serving Guests with allergensAbility to take catering food and beverage orders from Guests, repeating order for Guest confirmation, and correctly entering orders in our point-of-sale system following established ringing guidelinesUnderstands online ordering procedures, and checks all tickets to ensure the guest receives the correct foodPerforms a confirmation call for all orders/deliveries, and verifies the accuracy of the guest checkFollows all guidelines and procedures to confirm accurate catering executionAdheres to all tendering guidelines: writing included gratuity on credit card slip, receipt on site procedures, closing the check and following established cash handling proceduresCompletes Mileage logs as necessary, and turns into the Manager weeklyAssists other Team members in meeting Guest needs, providing cooperative service and following safety standardsPerforms all duties and responsibilities according to the Company's written Employment Guidelines, including Performance Expectations and Dress/Style/Grooming GuidelinesKeeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all Guest service issues. Takes prompt corrective action as appropriateTreats all Guests, Team Members, and Managers with the greatest degree of respect and courtesy. Maintains a friendly and cooperative attitude while at work. Portrays a favorable image of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que at all timesPerforms related tasks as assigned by Restaurant ManagementRequirements:6 mos. to 2 years related experience required.Valid Driver's License and good driving record.Must be able to speak and follow written and verbal communications, along with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Preferred:High school diploma or equivalent.1-2 years of Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail experience preferred.Alcohol certification.Food handler's certificationNOTE: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que® reserves the right to revise or change the position plan as the need arises.
