Job Description Seasonal Elevator Worker - Ottawa, ILThis is a full time, hourly positionPosition Summary: We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our Ottawa location.Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): Operate elevator processes and powered industrial equipmentGeneral Plant CleaningAbility to climb stairs and laddersShoveling, vacuuming / sweeping, loading and unloading trucks and railcars, and general maintenanceAbility and willingness to work overtime up to 12 hours per day and weekend overtime is necessary.Job Requirements:To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria: Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresExhibit regular and prompt attendanceAble to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing, working in confined spaces and heights, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, must meet all requirements to wear a respiratorWilling to work overtime and weekends during harvest periodsExhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitudeCandidates are required to provide own means of transportation to and from work.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
