Kotzker & Brodsky PC is a local CPA firm in Southampton, PA seeking an experienced tax preparer to prepare all aspects of individual tax returns. This seasonal opportunity offers a flexible schedule and a teamwork environment.

This is a seasonal plus potential for more time. Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week, Weekends as needed

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare all components of individual tax returns utilizing information provided by our clients, reviewing client information and putting it into our tax prep software, UltraTax
• Secure all information required to prepare a complete and accurate tax return in accordance with all government tax agencies and our firm's policies
• Communicate with clients through email or telephone to resolve open tax items and gather any additional information and documents needed to complete the tax return so it is ready for review by our CPA's
• Discuss any open tax issues and questions with our senior Staff Accountants before it goes to our CPA's

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 4+ years of experience preparing individual tax returns
• Knowledge of UltraTax software a plus
• Availability to work from January – April
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients
• Must be able to reliably commute to our office
