Job Description Summary: Responsible for routine tasks in packing belt operations across various departments. Tasks could include stocking, catching, scaling, straightening, and box forming. The roles are scheduled to commence in September and conclude in December. This is a union role with a starting rate of *$18.75/hr. *Rate differential for night shift premium. Job Description: Responsibilities:
  • Perform general labor tasks as needed throughout the facility, including but not limited to packing at set line speeds, weighing product, and providing break relief.
  • Form boxes and ensure packaging is done accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift weights up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed.
  • Familiarity with basic safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely.
  • Ability to learn with quality control procedures.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
