Job Description :
- Schedule and distribute manpower for departments under their responsibilities in order to satisfy customer requirements in the area of service and quality.
- Oversee training and retraining all associates in the various assigned departments. (Emphasis on cross-training, safety, and ergonomics.)
- Implement continuous improvement activities utilizing A3 Methods
- Coach/Counsel associates to encourage and enhance career and self-development.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment on problem solving activities.
- Manage departments to meet attainment, efficiency, quality, scrap, 6S, plant initiatives and budget targets/goals.
- Leadership by example while supporting guiding principles; treat others with respect, one piece flow, problem solving excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Minimum of three - five years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory/leadership role - leadership required and /or associate degree with minimum 2 years manufacturing supervisory experience, or bachelor's degree with minimum of 1-year previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven verbal/written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize department and production requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills / understanding A3 methods.
- Excellent attendance.
- Computer skills (Excel & Word).
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others.
