What You'll Do: As a Second Shift NDE Inspector at PRL, you will be at the forefront of our quality assurance process. You will inspect castings, forgings, and weldments using advanced techniques such as visual inspection, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic methods. Your meticulous approach will ensure that our products uphold the rigorous standards required for naval and nuclear applications. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of castings, forgings, and weldments. - Perform hydrostatic pressure testing and use various mechanical and electronic tools. - Ensure compliance with written procedures and specifications. - Maintain detailed records of inspections and tests. - Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. - Verify part documentation and serialize parts as required. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred. - Minimum of two years of related experience in industrial, mechanical, or machining product inspection. - Proficiency in using inspection tools and reading blueprints. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Must have a valid driver's license.
