POSITION #395-CLS-11-24: Attendance SecretaryWenatchee High School8.0 hours per day / 201 days per year, continuingSalary: $22.45 - $24.83 per hourDESCRIPTION: Collect, record and maintain attendance records for all high school students. Communicate with students, parents, teachers and administrators regarding attendance matters. Run daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports. Input student attendance. Answer phones. Compose and manage detention lists. Set up automated calls on a daily basis. Manage student locker assignments. Supervise sick room and notify parents of ill or injured students. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Secretarial experience required. Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge and experience required. Skyward experience preferred. Ability to work under stress and perform detailed work accurately and efficiently. Ability to work with constant interruption in a noisy environment. Ability to relate well to a diverse population of students, staff and the public. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Good human relations and organizational skills necessary. Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid/CPR card. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED. High school graduate or equivalent. May require prolonged sitting.
