This position involves clerical tasks with a particular focus on Special Education, assisting with business office duties, and managing various administrative tasks essential to the smooth operation of the district. This position is based primarily at the administrative office, but may require occasional assignments at other school buildings within the district as needed. QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Frontline Absence Management or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Special Education Clerical Support: Complete clerical tasks related to Special Education, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Background Checks: Conduct weekly background checks for staff and volunteers, adhering to district policies.
  • Financial Tasks: Process district deposits, assist with vendor payments, and support payroll entry.
  • Absence Management: Oversee employee absences using Frontline Absence Management, ensuring accurate recording and follow-up.
  • Board Meeting Support: Prepare and complete agendas for Board meetings, coordinate meeting materials, and attend board meetings.
  • Mail Distribution: Organize and distribute incoming and outgoing mail within the administrative office.
  • Business Office Assistance: Assist the Business Office with invoicing and other financial duties as needed.
  • Additional Clerical Support: Perform clerical tasks as assigned by the Superintendent, ensuring the efficient operation of the administrative office.
