Secretary Lead
Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC)
The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill one (1) permanent position for Secretary Lead at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center. As the Secretary Lead, you will provide clerical support to the Correctional Program Manager and will be responsible for providing training and support to the facility Office Assistants in support of the Department of Corrections mission.
COYOTE RIDGE CORRECTIONS CENTER (CRCC) is located on a 60-acre site about 40 miles north of the Tri-Cities. CRCC is comprised of two-complexes. The Medium Security Complex (MSC) is a 2,048-bed facility that houses Incarcerated Individuals (I/I) with Medium and MI3 Custody. MSC consists of 4 Hybrid units and 4 Medium units. The Minimum-Security Unit (MSU) is a 480-bed facility that houses assisted living and MI2 Custody I/I. MSU consists of 2 units. This is a work/program orientated facility that offers many educational, vocational, and self-help programs and Class II and Class III Correctional Industries work programs.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
* Process classification actions - including Custody Facility Plans and corresponding Offender Management Network Information (OMNI) work.
* Execute recommendations into OMNI, including initiating transfer orders and managing offender classification holds.
* Correspond with Headquarters Community Screening Committee (HCSC) to include custody overrides and work release referrals, and changes in incarcerated individual programming.
* Execute OMNI entries.
* Receive, log, and distribute Extended Family Visit, Restoration of Good Conduct Time, Medical Hardship, and Marriage application packets.
* Receive, log, and prepare On-Site/Off-Site and Correctional Industries Program Referrals.
* Manage Prohibited Contact forms.
* Screen Eligibility of Correctional Industries Applications.
* Prepare OMNI reports for monitoring the status of counselors' caseloads, and provide to CPMs, Correctional Unit Supervisor (CUS), and Classification Counselors.
* Manage and compile data for Television Rental program, Capstone tracking database/reports,
* Complete incarcerated individual payroll, and log Global Tier Representative meeting minutes. Perform OnBase scanning and train support staff in the process.
* Serve as backup to the Facility Capacity Manager.
What we need (required qualifications):
* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Two years increasingly responsible office experience requiring keyboarding
or typing and including experience directing the work of others.

Telework Details
This position may be allocated for telework. Work may be performed from your home or another offsite location within the state of Washington using a reliable internet or cellular hotspot service at that time. Employees are expected to perform assigned duties in a safe manner, to take proper care all state-issued equipment, and maintain confidentiality of all information in possession while working offsite. Employees will be required to commute to a Department of Corrections facility or field office as business requires, to potentially include components of the onboarding process. Some offices will have a drop in area available, however, a dedicated workspace within a DOC facility will not be provided.
